With the Add to Cart Redirect plugin, you can set up multi-level redirects. URL redirects can be configured at the following levels, depending on their priority:

5) Default Behavior

All configurable redirects feature built-in search functionality for any post type on your site (e.g., products, pages, posts, including public custom post types). A fully customizable URL can also be configured.

Examples of use – Increase conversions by skipping the Shopping Cart page

Instead of refreshing the page and seeing the message “Product X has been added to cart,” you can configure the Add to Cart Redirect plugin to send the customer immediately to the checkout page, skipping additional page loads, going to the cart and only then to checkout.

Configure the Add to Cart Redirect plugin to skip additional shopping cart pages and send the customer immediately to the checkout page after adding a product to the cart. This prevents page refreshes and the “Product X has been added to the cart” message.

Automatically add products to the cart

Maybe you’re running a really awesome promotion where you’re giving away a free product (let’s say if someone buys a pair of basketball shoes, you’re giving away a basketball). Using some great redirects, you can configure the plugin to automatically add the basketball product to the cart.
